Philippe Starck's Bubu is an little-known versatile stool that does not take itself too seriously. Bubu's cover can be removed and thus assume numerous forms and functions: vase, container, laundry basket, icebox, small table - in other words, multiple functions. With all this versatility one thing remains certain: XO Design's Bubu is a monolithic sculpture and simultaneously an icon of modern times. The design resembles an upside-down crown and has been interpreted as a symbol of democracy. Bubu is available in several color options.
