Stingray was designed by Thomas Pedersen in 2002 as a modern interpretation of the classic rocking chair. Pedersen is often inspired by organic shapes found in nature, and found the flowing shape of the stingray fish the perfect muse for the shape and name. The generous shape of the shell offers a variety of sitting positions. The shell is available in a high gloss plastic or a fully upholstered version. The plastic Stingray, with optional stainless steel frame, is suitable for outdoor use.
