Duravit launched the 2nd floor collection, designed in collaboration with sieger design, in 2006. 2nd floor epitomizes the notion that the bathroom is in a state of transition, moving from its traditional role as the most private room in the house to one that encourages communication, wellness, and relaxation by opening up the standard floor plan. Now, the washing area does not necessarily have to be fitted against a wall. Positioned at 90° to the wall, the new 2nd floor vanity unit with console opens up fresh perspectives in room design and layout.
