Patricia Urquiola thought of the seating elements, which were inspired by the conical shape and weave that is similar to baskets, hence the name 'Canasta' (the Spanish word for basket), all this for B&B Italy. The traditional pattern was amplified, increasing the macro-proportions as compared with the original, and used to create a dramatic and comfortable line of chairs and sofas. It can work very elegantly on an outdoor environment.
