The Arco floor lamp is a classic design par excellence and it is thus part of the permanent exhibition of the New York Museum of Modern Art. In 1962, two brothers, Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni, designed the lamp for Flos. In their creation, for which a simple street light was the model, Arco is a floor lamp, providing direct light. The heavy marble base provides light with a solid position. Thanks to the telescopic shaft, which is made of stainless steel with a satin finish, the lamp's height is easily adjustable (215-220 cm).
