A raised platform base with a vaguely Chinese feel, an elegantly finished, modular nomad made even more exquisite thanks to the cushions embroidered with the abstract floral patterns of Uzbeki Suzani which have been symbolically juxtaposed with the computerized aliens of Space Invaders games. The wooden frame blends in perfect harmony with the simple shapes of the cushions. Inspired by grand Eastern salons, Fergana, named after a central-Asian valley which has for centuries been a place where East meets West, breaks down the barriers between different languages to find the perfect balance of movement and stillness, of past and present, craftsmanship and technology.
Stained solid ash frame. Black brushed steel back panel and armrest support. Polyurethane foam and goose down seat, back andarmrest cushions. The Fergana collection has removable covers.
