The Standard is perfect over a dining table with lots of space and high ceilings or as a lamp for your office table. It provides a beautiful and good light for the entire room. Sylvain Willenz: “The Standard is a new take on the archetypal and well-known industrial lamp. Instead of metallic and separate elements, this version is made from one blown glass piece. It is a completely closed volume, which for its scale is a technical achievement. I like the idea of looking at something incongruous and moving it into a more refined and domesticated context. The beauty of Standard is that it’s a pure and simple object. Technically the lamp is blown in one piece and also closed at the bottom, unlike most glass lamps, so the glass blowing process if very challenging.”
