Ravioli is a Magis chair designed by Ron Arad and made of polyethylene by rotational moulding. Ravioli was obtained by creating a continuous strip with internal and external textures in order to suggesta continuity of materials which at first glance resembles swollen pasta. "Obviously we have thought about all this, taking into consideration the problem of removing the product from its mold and smoothing the appearance", the designer says. "I must also confess that the final product shape owes much to the efforts made to implement this idea by using different techniques. So in this case ratational molding is not only an economical alternative to other molding techniques, but one that saved an idea that had long been looking for another technology." Ron Arad. Ravioli can be used both indoors and outdoors.
