Fire Hurricane has a special lustre glass that beautifully reflects the surroundings when the candle is not lid - and the instance the candle is lid, the reflections dissolve and light breaks through the lustre. This makes the Hurricane a decorative element both when used, and not. The combination of the reflective metal and mirrored lustre glass creates a very elegant and classic effect – making this a modern product that points forward in terms of design, while also pulling thoughts back to the ancient oil lamps in brass and copper. It’s like a little bit of material magic, made to be used both indoors and outdoors. Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen from NORM explains:

Kasper: “There are a lot of disposable plastic holders and candle thingies on the market and … honestly, most of it isn’t all that pretty”.

Jonas: “So we wanted to create something that was both durable and aesthetically pleasing”. Kasper: “And you can use the Fire Hurricane both indoors and outdoors, so it gets this nice multi usability feature to it, AND you can use it over and over again”.
